Summary

- The CPDM can’t understand how they lost in the NW. Some say the candidates led by MUNDI Regina were unpopular, others claim the UDP helped the SDF. However, having won in three divisions, the CPDM managed to snatch one of the seven elected seats and as such SDF will have six seats while the CPDM will take one to add to the 63 others that it has picked in the 9 other regions making a total of 64 seats. The head of state will then appoint 30 others not more than 10 days from when the Constitutional Council publishes the final results. Will the entire senate be CPDM?? The President will probably appoint some UNDP or FNSC members to bring in some “opposition”. Let’s see how it goes.
