Minister ATANGA NJI storms the South West!

Minister of Territorial Administration visits the South West Region


After having braved all odds by visiting the NW region, going as far as Batibo, epicentre of kidnappings and burnings, many wondered if Minister Atanga Nji could do this just because he hails from the NW region. Many pondered if a similar exercise would be carried out in the SW. Some even said he wouldn't even dare. Today, he is in the SW region on a surprise visit. No authority was informed of the visit. He arrived Buea this morning and is expected to hold high level security talks with authorities. He arrives the region just a day after one of several gunmen who attacked the Meme SDO's residence was brought down. This is the fifth attempt on the SDO's residence. The minister would visit this residence. What we can't tell as of  now is how far he will go. Will he only hold talks with chiefs and authorities in Buea and Kumba, will he meet disgruntled bike riders in Kumba, will he go as far as Lebialem which has been boiling these past days?
