Summary

  1. GCE June 2018 results have been released. The results reveal an improvement in the performance of students when compared to those of last year. The following are the percentage pass per exam: A/L General - 67%, O/L General - 50%, A/L Technical - 73%, O/L Technical - 58%. The results were released yesterday evening to the surprise of many who expected them early next month as has been the custom for some years now.
  2. Outgoing Senegalese Ambassador, Vincent BADI died on Sunday at his residence. Early reports say he died of a heart attack. Mr. BADI had already visited all major state officials to bid them farewell. Maybe a final one indeed!
  3. No coach yet for the indomitable lions of Cameroon, less than a year to the 2019 AFCON to be hosted by Cameroon. 
  4. Private / Independent Institutions of Higher Learning begin receiving their own share of the PBHev Laptops. Minister FAME NDONGO was at the Yaounde Sports Complex to preside over the exercise.
